Please ensure eyes are free from mascara prior to your appointment for best results.
CONTRAINDICATIONS FOR LASH LIFTING:
If you have had cosmetic tattooing on your eyeline within the last 2 months, we cannot perform the lash lift.
MEDICATIONS:
Roaccutane/Accutane/Isotretinoin/Doxycycline/Epiduo gel/Cortisone/Steroids/Retin-A/Renova/Retinoids or their derivatives – you will need to be off these medications for at least 4 months before we can perform this procedure.
Hormonal/thyroid medication – Sometimes thyroid medication can cause the lash lift to not lift well or not last as long.
Prescribed medicated eye drops - Unfortunately this treatment would not be suitable for you.
Lash growth serum- You will need to stop using any lash growth serum 2 days prior to your appointment.
WE CANNOT PERFORM A LASH LIFT/TINT ON YOU IF YOU:
Are pregnant
Have damaged natural eyelashes
Have Alopecia
Have had recent laser eye surgery or operation/medical procedure to the eye area (you would need to wait a minimum of 6 months and have approval by your GP before you would be suitable for this treatment).
Have Skin complications and/or disorders (in area of the procedure) - such as Trichotillomania, Eczema, Psoriasis, Keratosis Pilaris, Rosacea, Chronic Acne, and Dermatitis are not eligible for this treatment.
Have Ultra-sensitive skin/eyes, Dry Eye Syndrome or Glaucoma
Have an eye infections such as Conjunctivitis
Have skin allergies, allergies to glue, negative reactions to lash lifts, extreme hayfever or watery eyes
Have an Autoimmune Disease/Disorders
Have a History of Staph Infection
Have had Cancer, Radiotherapy or Chemotherapy (for many who have cancer/undergone radiation treatments, the risk of infection is higher as the skin is more fragile and medications used can affect the treatment. As your safety is our number one focus, we cannot perform this treatment on you whilst you are undergoing these medical treatments/therapies. You will need to discuss when it would be appropriate with your doctor and have their consent/approval first. Please contact us before booking in to discuss options.)
Have had Botox/Injectables (you will have to wait at least 2 weeks after any Botox or other injectables before you can book in for this treatment).
Have any communicable disease or infections.
